Selecting Music for Church Groups

Many square dance songs are based on "Country Music", and many country songs are about BEER-DRINKIN'.  Most churches warn about the dangers of alcohol.  Therefore, any Drinkin' Songs must be REMOVED from your music collection, before you ever set foot on church property.

You will still have PLENTY of remaining songs.  Alas, some of the remaining songs involve divorce and affairs.  Such activities are NOT condoned by churches, so the offending songs must be carefully removed.

The good news is that you'll still have plenty of songs left.  The bad news is that some of your remaining songs will be about SINS such as gambling, envy, lust and jealousy.  All sinful songs MUST be removed from your music collection, lest you run the risk of accidentally playing IMPROPER music in a church.

You probably have some religious songs, perhaps from the wrong KIND of religion.  Play it safe by removing ALL religious songs.  Then go back and double-check that you pulled out all of your Lust Songs and all of your Drinking Songs.  Also, you don't want to bring any songs about UNHEALTHY activities.  Do one more FINAL check to make sure all the Drinking and Lusting songs are gone.

Congratulations!  You are now ready to call in a church!  Of course, you'll have to call with NO music.
